Typically, our customers call upon our services when

Fair market value

Upon restructuring or closing facilities, laboratory instruments are often relocated inside the company. As the book value usually does not represent the actual value of a laboratory instrument, a fair market value is required. This is particularly important when assets are moved to facilities outside of the country. Thanks to our extensive knowledge and experience, we determine a fair market value for each instrument that then forms the basis for internal cross-company billing.

Cataloguing equipment

We can catalogue all equipment and prepare a full documentation with a description and meaningful photos. This catalogue forms the basis for offering equipment to other facilities inside the company or sales to third parties. The catalogue is made to meet your individual requirements and contains all the information you think is necessary. We will of course provide guidance based on our long experience. 

Relocation of laboratory instruments

Together with our network of professional partners we can help to relocate laboratory assets to other facilities. Ideally, our job starts before: 

• Is it worth moving the laboratory instrument at all or are the transport costs higher than the value?
• Can the laboratory instrument be operated at the desired facility? Often instruments run on i.e. only 115/120V or 230V.
• Are all accessories complete needed to run the instrument?
• Many instruments need specific (expensive) software packages. Is the software with all license keys and possibly copy protection located?
• Are transport locks required? Moving laboratory instruments without the necessary transport locks can severely damage the instruments and lead to very expensive repairs.

Clearing facilities

Do you need to clear a complete facility? Together with our partners we can take care of all steps from planning, relocating instruments sill required, disposing of chemicals according to local regulations, dismantling installations and finally leaving a cleared facility.
